Terms of Service
Athena Lab is a portal where people publish application blueprints, written specs an AI coding agent can build an application from, and where others browse and download them. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
Accounts
You can browse and download without an account. To publish you sign in with GitHub or Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your provider secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
Ownership of what you publish
You may only publish a blueprint that is yours to publish. By uploading, you represent and warrant that:
- You created it, or you otherwise hold all rights needed to publish it and to grant the licence you attach to it.
- It does not reproduce, describe, or derive from another party's application, source code, design, architecture, or other confidential or proprietary information without that party's authorization. Reverse engineering, or writing up, someone else's software as a blueprint and publishing it is not permitted.
- If you built the application under an agreement, employment, or engagement in which a client, employer, or other party owns or controls the work, or under any duty of confidentiality or non-disclosure, you do not have the right to publish its design here, and must not.
- It does not infringe any patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, contract, or privacy right, and does not otherwise break the law.
You keep ownership of what you upload. You grant Athena Lab a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and distribute it so the site can function. Each blueprint carries a licence you choose, and that licence, not these terms, governs what downloaders may do with it. Choose it deliberately, and only if you have the right to grant it.
You must not upload malware, unlawful material, or content designed to harm, deceive, or violate others' rights or privacy.
Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for what you publish. You agree to indemnify and hold Athena Lab harmless from any claim, demand, or damages, including reasonable legal costs, arising out of a blueprint you upload or the rights you claim in it, including any claim that it infringes intellectual property or breaches confidentiality. If we receive a credible complaint that content is not yours to publish, we may remove it (see Moderation).
Downloads and downstream use
Blueprints are supplied by their authors, not by Athena Lab. A blueprint is a set of instructions intended for an automated coding agent. Athena Lab does not review, verify, or audit blueprint content. It may contain errors, insecure patterns, or instructions that behave in ways you do not intend. You are responsible for reviewing anything you download before you build from it or run the result, and for complying with the blueprint's licence. Downloads are provided as is.
Moderation
Moderation is reactive. We do not pre-screen uploads. We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these terms, at our discretion. To report a blueprint, email contact@athenalab.net.
Disclaimer and liability
The service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Athena Lab is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any damage arising from content you download or the use of anything built from it.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
